Gala 2008
|
St. Ignatius Nursing Home is
thrilled to announce that one of the original Irish tenors,
Ronan Tynan, will be performing at the St. Ignatius Nursing
Home 2008 Charity Gala on April 27th. Once again, the Gala
will be held in the Park Hyatt at the Bellevue’s main
ballroom. We also are extremely fortunate to have Patrick
and Marie O'Connor serve as the Gala Co-Chairs.
Honorary Chairs will be Bishop DeSimone, Roseanita Coffey,
Bud and Eileen Hansen, John Gordon, Norbert and Doreen
McGettigan and George and Barbara Nise.

Cardinal
Rigali Visits
|
|
Cardinal Justin Rigali visited St. Ignatius Nursing Home on
August 13, 2007 for his pastoral visit. Residents, employees
and guests welcomed the Cardinal as he celebrated the Eucharist
in our Chapel. After Mass, Cardinal Rigali visited with many of
our Residents, going from floor to floor. The Cardinal held
hands, spoke with and blessed Residents who were not able to
attend the Mass. |

2007 Charity
Golf Tournament A Success
|
St. Ignatius Nursing Home held
the 2007 Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Residents of
the Home last May. Golfers were blessed with good weather
and a wonderful turn out at Llanerch Country Club. At the
reception following the golf tournament, there was a Silent
Auction and raffle supported by the golfers and many
additional guests, including Temple basketball coach Fran
Dunphy. Proceeds benefited the Residents with funding
towards renovation of the Resident bathing areas. The Home
is extremely grateful for the support of all the sponsors,
golfers and Silent Auction purchases.
