On
behalf of the Residents, Felician Franciscan Sisters and
staff of St. Ignatius Nursing Home, we would like to
thank everyone for your support and commitment to the
2008 Charity Gala, held on April 28. If you were in
attendance, you know the night was a tremendous
success. We had over 500 attendees, including Mayor
Michael Nutter, and many local religious, political and
sports notables participating in a magical evening of
great entertainment by Irish tenor Ronan Tynan.
The Gala was also a
financial success with the goal reached of raising over
$240,000 (net) for the Residents of St. Ignatius Nursing
Home. Proceeds from the Gala will combine with grant
and appeal monies for a major renovation project for the
Home.
We could not have been so
successful without the dedication of the Co-Chairs of
the Gala, Patrick and Marie O’Connor, who were
instrumental in
obtaining 40 sponsorships for the Gala. We are truly
appreciative of all of their efforts.
Thank you again for your
continued support and dedication to the Residents of St.
Ignatius Nursing Home.

Photos
There were many wonderful
photos taken during the Gala and we would like to share
them with our Gala sponsors.
We had two photographers during the evening and
the photos are divided into two pages. The photos on the
first page are by Zorro. Please call the
Development Office for information regarding these
photos. Reference the identifying number under
each photo.
The second page contains
photos by Maria Tucker. The link on that page will
take you to a website where the photos are also
displayed and where you can order professional quality
prints directly from the photographer.
Thank you so much and we
hoped you enjoyed the evening.
